Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and nice rooms combining traditional style and comfort. Nice area too! very close to the main attractions and the shopping streets.

Kamikochi Nishi-itoya Mountain lodge apresenta um jardim, salão partilhado, um terraço e restaurante em Matsumoto. We had a wonderful time at the Nisha-itoya lodge. The staff were very attentive and helpful and looked after us so well. The Japanese food was wonderful and seemed to get better every night we stayed and they were able to accommodate my fussiness and my partner’s veganism. The public bath had a gorgeous view of the mountains.

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Nice was super friendly and the ryokan is very nice. They also serve good food at the on site restaurant.

Com banhos termais ao ar livre, uma piscina interior aquecida e belos jardins japoneses, o Senjukaku apresenta acomodações de estilo japonês tradicional com um charme histórico. Breakfast was great. Onsen pools were perfect. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

A 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Yorozuya features hot spring baths, a hot tub and Japanese-style rooms with a private terrace and private bathroom. this was the first visit to YOROZUYA after many years. always an exceptional experience. staff was great! Sakamoto-san was very accommodating in our SAKURA room for meals. will be sure to visit again. maybe stay in KIKU room?!?!

Situado apenas a 5 minutos a pé do histórico Santuário de Togakushi, o Oshi Ryokan é um alojamento tradicional situado numa pacífica zona montanhosa, que costumava acolher peregrinos. This has marked a highlight of our trip, defining what traditionally lived Japanese hospitality feels like. We were deeply touched by the degree to which guests needs are quietly being catered to - repeatedly. We can highly recommend staying at this Ryokan, even if you don’t plan to do any of the numerous activities around. We will surely come back here for when the skiing seasons kicks off. We feel very thankful to have met these remarkable beings running the place.

Apenas a 10 minutos de carro do Parque dos Macacos de Neve, o Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya apresenta acomodações simples de estilo japonês com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. The hospitality was great, the location is stunning and the ryokan itself is very comfortable and makes you feel at home. We had dinner and breakfast and they were able to accommodate one of us being vegan with both meals being delicious. The onsens are very quiet and very well maintained, and can be used for free by the ryokan's guests. Akira-san also offered to take us to both the snow monkeys resort and the station, which was great.

A 3-minute walk from Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Kadowakikan features ski-to-door access, a hot spring bath and free WiFi. Everything about this hotel is awesome. If you want an authentic Japanese experience with a super friendly and helpful host I would really recommend this hotel to you. The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the onsen downstairs is great, I could keep on going, its all superb.

O Tawaraya está situado a 5 minutos a pé da Estação Ferroviária de Yudanaka e apresenta acomodações de estilo japonês com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e uma televisão de ecrã plano. Staff excepcional. Foram gentis, prestativos e amigáveis. Nos ajudaram bastante em nossa passagem pela cidade, e nos fizeram ficar muito à vontade. O quarto é bonito, espaçoso e agradável, com futtons muito confortáveis. Todo o ryokan é lindo, com destaque para o onsen.
