The house was in the center of the town, although we´ve been offered one on the outskirts. It was easy to go everywhere and there were many facilities such as bars and shop just next to it. The house consisted of 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, small kitchen and terrace. It was great, as we could cook our meals there. If you are into hiking, there are some hikes they you can do without using your car. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We loved the location and character of the village. Easy parking on the streets. The house was welcoming the bedroom and toilet were a good size. Good aircon and host was lovely and accommodating.

Solar de Alarco är från 1600-talet och har en trädgård och en möblerad terrass med utsikt över Guarda. Centrala Guarda ligger 4 minuters bilresa från boendet. Very friendly reception and breakfast staff. Lovely smell throughout the whole house. Very accommodating with regards to our bikes.

Tranca da Barriga - Casa do Vinho by Quinta De São Tiago ligger 27 km från Parque Natural Serra da Estrela och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge samt restaurang. Owner and his granddaughter made us very thorough excursion about production of vines and plentiful vine tasting after that. Owner changed our room to nice suite without any surcharge. This was very nice evening and night in Quinta de Sao Tiago. Also good breakfast.
