A lovely property in well tended grounds and with great views

Warmly greeted by Manuela and advance correspondence was excellent. Lovely tea on arrival and a walk on the property. We ordered dinner in advance and it did not disappoint, white truffles with gnocchi and lovely roasted potatoes and pork. The appetizer choices were very tasty, especially the ricotta. Lovely county retreat, and breakfast had many choices.

Talacchio is located in a quiet place on green hills in northern Umbria, at 10 min from Cittá di Castello where you will find most of the services you need, as well as culture, restaurants and a nice market on Saturday mornings. The apartment we had at Talacchio was well equipped, comfortable and cozy, with a beautiful view from the terrace. And with it great hosts we felt so good, that we are sure, we will come back.

Great place on a hill in the middle of nowhere. We liked the room, the pool, the garden and the excellent, home-made, delicious food.

The location, the view, the pool and the people as well as the diner food( excellent three course Italian style). Highly recommend the place. Felt welcome and they waited for my late arrival.

Hosts were attentive and welcome, despite language barrier. Unit was enormous as I was the only one in a shared space, but even if I had had to share, be shared spaces were still plenty and my room was enormous. The host makes his own wine and also makes it available for sale. I tried his Sangiovese and it was wonderful. I am cycling so could only buy a single bottle, but if I'd had my car, I would have filled the boot.
